About J-life

      J-life is a non-denominational organization with a mission to mobilize disciple-making youth movements throughout Africa. They do this by equipping and releasing young leaders from the church and for the church. You can find out more at their website.


Included in our Internship: 

• A cross-cultural ministry experience in South Africa. (With 11 official languages, many different  cultures, and a landscape is as varied as the people, we will have the opportunity to interact with  different South Africans and hear their stories of growing up in such a diverse country!)
• Develop life-long friendships with J-Life trainees from different parts of the USA and South Africa.
• Quality ministry training that is based on the life and ministry of Jesus. This training is largely focused on youth ministry, but the principles can be applied to any ministry.
• Involvement with practical ministry opportunities such as assisting with running a sports camp as well as a camp for vulnerable children.
• Exposure to diverse youth ministry contexts in urban and peri-urban contexts.
• The opportunity to see some of the beautiful parts of our country while dolphin watching, going on a game safari, taking surf lessons etc.
